Report by Cut Off, what does this mean?
Tourico Holidays will report bookings to the hotel at the time of the cut off date as agreed in our FIT contract - rather than report them at the time of the original booking. -
Why is Tourico Holidays doing this?
As our segment of the industry has moved to almost completely online processing, this has facilitated a much higher incidence of cancellations and amendments. These are currently sent to the hotel as they are received. A booking may be amended several times, and then cancelled prior to the cut off date. This move means now that the same booking will be reported or transacted only one time. -
How will I receive new bookings?
For report by cut-off, we can send to you via email (preferred) or via fax. For Sell and Report, bookings are reported electronically via our Extranet Suite, with email notifications sent to your designated contact. -
Can I review utilization reports?
Yes, once you log into the Extranet Suite, you can view allotment usage forward for the duration of the contract. -
Do I still need to confirm all bookings and cancellations?
No, we will only ask you to confirm bookings made within cut off or above allotment. If you wish to add confirmation numbers, you can do so via the extranet suite. You will have 48hrs from time of reporting to do so. After this period, from allotment bookings will be considered confirmed automatically. -
I have a 24hr cut off but no weekend staff, what happens?
All bookings will actually be reported 48hrs prior to the contracted cutoff, for example, you have a 3 day release/cut-off, we will report at 5 days, any new bookings made within this 48hr window will be reported at the actual cut-off. If this is not sufficient, we can increase this duration to 72hrs. -
Can I still receive notification at time of sell?
Yes, we can enable or enable this method for you, the difference is that we will only report these via the extranet suite. Please contact your assigned Tourico Holidays Product Manager to enable, or email us at contracting@touricoholidays.com. -
Where do I amend, add or receive login and password for the extranet suite?
This is managed by your Tourico product manager, or you can email us at contracting@touricoholidays.com -
How will above allotment booking requests be handled?
Once our allotment has been utilized, we will contact you for either additional room block, or for approval upon a specific booking. Once confirmed, these bookings will be reported at the same time as the allotment bookings; at time of cutoff. -
Is it necessary to reply to the emails I get regarding a new booking on the mini site?
No, it is only necessary to update the mini site. There will be option for you to acknowledge the initial email in order to avoid a 2nd 'chaser' email 24hrs later. -
Can the reservations be sent to the multiple email addresses?
Unfortunately our system does not have ability to send to the multiple email addresses. -
